FFTC Announces New Name - Humanity for Children
Sat, 10/25/2008 - 11:03Fight For The Children was founded just over two years ago and in that short time our organization has experienced great progress and has dramatically transformed.
What started out as an idea in 2006 has grown into an internationally recognized organization with a successful clinic in Kenya and a robust tuition sponsorship program. Currently, the organization has several projects underway, including a Children's and Mothers' Health Center and a Health Post in Rwanda, and a Health Advocacy program in Longido, Tanzania.
Given the growth that we have experienced, it has become apparent that our name should more adequately reflect our mission and vision and the positive changes we're dedicated to making in the world.
Our new name is Humanity for Children, which we believe encompasses our entire mission and vision.
You will begin to see this change of name over the next couple of months. We want to ensure that the transition to the new name is effective and that you understand the reason for the decision to change the name.
You will be able to access our website in the same manner you have in the past at www.fightforthechildren.org , or at our new address at www.humanityforchildren.org or www.humanity4children.org .
Our email addresses will remain the same until the change is complete. Donations can still be made to "Fight for the Children" or "Humanity for Children" or through our secure website.
