Medical Clinics

Burkitt's lymphoma patients are often not brought for medical care until the disease is disfiguring.
We work with the local population to identify the needs of the village and establish the basic infrastructure for the site including water, electricity, buildings, and healthcare providers. Using our expert team of doctors and nurses, we train local healthcare professionals in excellent child healthcare and after the initial evaluation of the children in the region the clinic is turned over to the local providers to provide continued care. Humanity for Children has full oversight of each clinic to ensure continued excellence of care and can provide further continuing medical education for the local providers from outside volunteers as needed. Uniquely, Fight For The Children clinics are adopted by medical centers and cities in the developed world after founding, which are then responsible for the continued support of their adopted clinic with oversight from Humanity for Children.
Humanity for Children clinics in the larger locales also act as training centers for local triage personnel to the villages. Neighboring villages send volunteers to our clinics to be trained in basic triage and then go back to their home villages. These volunteers are vital in ensuring that sick children from outlying areas are brought to our clinic to get the medical care they need.
Because our clinics and hospitals are run by local medical professionals, we are able to build and fund sites for a fraction of the cost of other organizations. All money donated from this site goes 100% to our current projects benefiting children.
